At Skin & Science, your satisfaction is our top priority. Every product is crafted with care and undergoes strict quality checks before dispatch. However, if you face any issues with your order, we’re here to help.
1. Eligibility for Returns
Due to the nature of skincare products and hygiene standards, we accept returns only under the following conditions:
- You received the wrong product or a damaged/defective item.
- The product was received in a leaked, broken, or tampered condition.
To be eligible for a return:
- The request must be raised within 48 hours of receiving your order.
- The item must be unused, unopened, and in its original packaging.
- Proof of purchase (order ID and payment confirmation) is required.
2. How to Request a Return

Include the following details:
- Your order number
- Clear photos or videos showing the product issue
- A brief description of the problem
Once verified, our team will arrange a pickup or replacement depending on the situation.
3. Refunds
Refunds are only applicable if:
- The replacement product is unavailable or out of stock.
- The issue has been verified by our quality team.
Once approved, your refund will be processed within 5–7 business days to your original payment method.
For Cash on Delivery (COD) orders, refunds will be issued via bank transfer or UPI after confirmation.
4. Non-Returnable / Non-Refundable Items
For hygiene and safety reasons, we do not accept returns or offer refunds for:
- Used or opened products
- Items purchased during a sale or under discounts/offers
- Free gifts or promotional items
- Minor packaging variations that do not affect product quality
5. Damaged or Missing Products
If your package arrives damaged or items are missing, contact us within 48 hours of delivery. Provide photos and your order ID so we can quickly resolve the issue.
6. Cancellations
Orders can only be cancelled before they are shipped. Once dispatched, the order cannot be cancelled or modified. To cancel, email us immediately at care@theskinandscience.com with your order number.
